The original materials to be 3D scanned are dried plant bits and pieces and other found detritus which are fashioned by me into "dragon body" parts. Prior to scanning, the parts are sprayed with a light matte gesso to reduce reflected areas. 3D scans do not record reflected surfaces very well.
