As a Visiting Adjunct Professor, Kathleen King,MFA, had taught drawing and watercolor courses in Korea University's 2007 to 2019 International Summer Campus Programs. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, the art courses were canceled for the time being. Kat anticipates Korea University will revive the studio art courses for ISC 2024 or 2025. These are 3 credit hour basic level courses, grades are transferable to the students' home institutions. The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts is located on the beautiful Greek island of Skopelos. The Foundation has a printmaking studio, cermanics
studio, indoor-outdoor painting and sculpture areas. Plus, there is a quarter round amphitheatre. Academic programs, artists' residences, the annual SIFFY Summer Youth Film and Animation Festivals and artists' workshops are hosted by the Foundation. A new printmaking fund in the name of the late and widely beloved Professor Emeritus, Michael S. Miller is being nurtured, hopefully, deserving artists will be able to brought to the Foundation for artists' residence awards starting in 2019 or 2020. Kathleen King will be teaching a 2 Day Mono Print Workshop at the Naples Art Institute in Naples,FL. 585 Park Street Naples,FL 34102 February 15th and 16th 2024. The emphasis will be pulling prints by hand pressure but there may also be a demonstration of pulling mono prints via press on the 2nd day of the workshop.
