Suggestive of Baroque Art, wallpaper and comic visual art, the resulting hypnotic tableaux are “flora into fauna fables” that unfold before the viewer as each composition is contemplated. Implied subject matter may be seen as beautiful and playful or sinister and monstrous. The fantastic content emerges, in improvised stages, as the layers of collage, hand drawn and painted passages are intermixed.
